Crepes with Caramel and Icing Recipe

  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Whisk together the flour and eggs in a mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the milk and water gradually to combine.
  • Whisk in the salt and melted butter until the batter is smooth.
  • Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and swirl to coat the bottom.
  • Cook for 2 minutes, or until the edges begin to dry and lift from the pan.
  • Cook for an additional minute on the other side after flipping the pancake.
  • Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  • Heat the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until it is melted and golden brown.
  • Stir in the heavy cream until thoroughly combined.
  • Remove from the heat and set aside for a few minutes to cool.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Before serving, drizzle crepes with caramel sauce and icing.
