Instructions

  • Whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, water, salt, and melted butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup pancake batter into the pan and swirl to distribute the batter evenly.
  • Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  • Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown.
  • Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  • Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
  • Place a spoonful of the chocolate filling in the centre of each pancake and fold the edges over to form a packet.
  • Serve hot.
